One of the True Classic War Film

If you missed purchasing the Blu-ray release of THE BIG PARADE and have a love for the classic films from the silent era then this is a must purchase. Along with Paramount's 1927 WINGS this film ranks as a landmark film in screen history. John Gilbert gives a masterful performance under the direction of King Vidor. The film was one of the all-time box-office hits of the silent era and has lost none of its power or of its romantic spender. The print is excellent as is the musical score.
