Comments about Too Much, Too Soon (MOD):

The transfer( widescreen all right) looks just "OK" generally it's a sharp, and good image, however it's uneven in spots, with some softness and scratches, and a few bad frames, but some minor issue with the audio track from time to time.
The Transfer looked little "fade".
Watchable print.
Recommended for every Errol Flynn fan.

Comments about Too Much, Too Soon (MOD):

A very interesting movie, how much was true is open
to debate--but Dorothy Malone's performance was
heart wrenching and affecting--Errol Flynn playing
John Barrymore is a must see for every classic movie
fan.

Comments about Too Much, Too Soon (MOD):

The remastering is quite good. Too bad there aren't any additional features. Errol Flynn plays his old pal John Barrymore to a tee and the highlight of the film, for me, is Flynn's reciting an abrdiged speech from HENRY V. After he dies, the film loses much of its interest. But it's worth having for Flynn.

Comments about Too Much, Too Soon (MOD):

I thought Dorothy Malone did a fine job as the adult Diana Barrymore, but they really should have used a different actress for the early scenes with her as a school girl. I could have used more seediness over all. I cannot help but be reminded of "I'll Cry Tomorrow" which covers basically the same kind of territory, but which is better paced and more gritty. I do plan to look for the films Diana Barrymore made in the early 1940's because of this picture. I know they aren't readily available on DVD, but I have a video store nearby with a huge old VHS inventory, so I might find something there. Seeking out Barrymore's films is a direct result of viewing this movie, so I if you have any interest in Drew Barrymore's notorious aunt, I would recommend it.
