Comments about Three Faces East (MOD):

The print comes with scratches and damage, but all things considered has quit good contrast for a film from 1930 (84 years old).
However the audio track is really damaged:" too noisy".
Still RECOMMENDED.

Comments about Three Faces East (MOD):

Erich Von Stroheim and Constance Bennett give superb performances in this early-talkie mystery which I had always wanted to see, but could never find...until the good people at Warner Brothers have released this impressive DVD.

Von Stroheim is quite captivating in this film, and you can't take your eyes off him in any scene he is in. Bennett is lovely, and the twists and turns of the plot make this one a real gem to add to anyone's classic movie collection.

I don't think it has ever been on television, and frankly I never thought I'd get to see this one, much less own it. Very grateful for this excellent DVD which looks and sounds very good for a film that is nearly 85 years old!
