Comments about The Heart is a Lonely Hunter:

This is one of the most moving and remarkable films of all time. But when is it going to get an upgrade to Blu-ray ?...If any film needs to be seen in 1080p high definition, it's definitely this one...C'mon WB, let's roll out a Blu-ray release SOON for "The Heart is a Lonely Hunter" !!!

The Heart is a Lonely Hunter

      About Me Movie Buff

Comments about The Heart is a Lonely Hunter:

This film is my favorite of all time...Alan Arkin plays a deaf-mute man who moves to a sleepy Southern town to be near a hospitalized friend, and while there, brings warmth, kindness, compassion, and most importantly, hope to all the lost souls he encounters...Arkin was nominated for an Academy Award for his performance, as was Sondra Locke in a supporting role...This film is just BEGGING to be released in the WB Made-On-Demand Blu-Ray Archive Collection...I know many film collectors out there who would purchase it...I myself would purchase over a 100 copies (at least) to give to friends and family, and also to be included in my "Heart is a Lonely Hunter" home theater display...Right now, all I have is the DVD-R version that I ordered from the WB Shop, but a film like this (in my opinion the most emotionally moving of all time) deserves to be seen in glorious Blu-Ray high-definition !!...Hear my prayer WB (and the prayers of many others), and release this lovely piece of celluloid heaven on Blu-Ray...It would most certainly be a wonderfiul addition to your up and coming MOD Blu-Ray Archives Collection...Thank you in advance !!...Barry S. Wilson, Ph.D

Comments about The Heart is a Lonely Hunter:

This is one of the most magnificent films ever made !!

Alan Arkin plays a deaf-mute man whom moves to a small Southern town to be close to a hospitalized friend, and in the process, brings warmth, kindness, and above all, hope, to all those around him.

Arkin was nominated for an Academy Award for his performance, as was Sondra Locke in a supporting role.

I really hope that Warner puts this brillainr film out on Blu-Ray in their Made-On Demand Archive Collection.

I know that I would buy many copies to give to friends and family, and also many for myself as well to include in my "Heart is a Lonely Hunter" home theatre display.

This wonderful film needs to be seen in Blu-Ray High Definition !!

It is absolutely one of the most emotionally moviing films ever put on celluloid !!

          Barry S. Wilson, Ph. D
