The FBI: The Complete Eighth Season

T he FBI versus the mob for the soul of a nation. With the book fully closed on flower power, the seventies' unique blend of stylish cynicism began to get its grip on the country as selfless ideals started to get traded in for selfish dreams.

Initial quantities of this release will be traditionally replicated (pressed) in anticipation of high consumer demand.

Comments about The FBI: The Complete Eighth Season:

By now, everyone was phoning it in. They still aren't giving Tom anything to do, and in many episodes Arthur Ward is in one scene, in some cases literally on the phone with Lew. The criminals are still the highlight of the show. One of the episodes had the always dependable Ed Nelson as an unemployed engineer who plots a crime, and recruits Michael Strong for assistance. Strong is hysterical, as the reluctant criminal who just wants to go back to running his service station.

Still some worthy episodes, but Phillip Saltzman was the showrunner now, and some episodes play more like episodes of Dallas than The FBI. It just seems looser, as though not as much care is being taken with all aspects of the production.

Oh, Lew starts combing his hair differently about 10 episodes in; gets rid of the grease and discovers mousse. Looks good on him.

Comments about The FBI: The Complete Eighth Season:

Got the product in just three days, for standard delivery. Good packaging. The video quality was good, but not exceptional. The only negative comment I would add, is that for the fifty plus dollar price tag, I wish the DVDs should have been remastered for HD type video quality. The show itself, will always stand out as a classic.
