Strangers On A Train Blu-ray

Strange thing about this trip. So much occurs in pairs. Tennis star Guy (Farley Granger) hates his unfaithful wife. Mysterious Bruno (Robert Walker) hates his father. How perfect for a playful proposal: I'll kill yours, you kill mine.

Comments about Strangers On A Train (BD) Blu-ray:

Hollywood legend has it that detective fiction turned screenwriter Raymond Chandler loathed working with the "Master of Suspense" but together (along with sw: Czenzi Ormonde) the fruits of their collaboration yielded the perfect deus ex machina in the carousel breakdown (an iconic cinematic set-piece) when Hitchcock was stumped for a way to conclude the film. Robert Walker transcends the lavender subtext of his character admirably, off-setting the somewhat wooden performances of Farley Granger and Ruth Roman. Beyond a shadow of a doubt, Hitchcock at his best. Now the WB offers this noir classic in (BD)blu-ray.
