I enjoyed watching the movie now as I did all those years ago. The first class cast, costumes and action are superbe. Video quality is excellent.

Wonderful cast. Great story. Stewart Grainger is a marvellous actor now almost forgotten. He never diappoints. Mel Ferrer is an elegant villain. The cast appears to be having a great time. PLUS the best swordfighting scene in the history of film !!!
What, indeed is not to like-hell, LOVE.

              Comments about Scaramouche:

Maximum effort costume epic from MGM. Features the greatest swordfight in cinema history. Gorgeous cinematography with Eleanor Parker and Janet Leigh looking their very best. A plethora of superb supporting actors. This is Stewart Granger's best performance on film, save "King Solomon's Mines". A delightful swashbuckler in every way and a pleasure to see it available again after having been out of print for a few years. A MUST SEE film for fans of Historicals. Recommended for fans of Granger's "Prisoner of Zenda", "King Solomon's Mines", and Peck's "Captain Horatio Hornblower". This film features similar production values.
