    Comments about Magnetic Monster, The:

Disc played without defects, good sound and picture quality. Very original for using an inanimate object as a monster. The story is about an isotope that gets bombarded by alpha particles and becomes unstable. It consumes electricity, grows, and generates magnetism in the process that causes all kinds of havoc to its surroundings. Scientist then realize that it has the capability to grow to the point of upsetting the Earth's orbit. The race to stop the deadly monster is on, will scientists succeed? The special effects are decent for a small budget film. Nice footage of early Air Force jets complete with refueling tankers, too. Early performances by King Donovan, and Strother Martin (What we have here is a failure to communicate, CHL). A good film all around.
