Comments about Looney Tunes Super Stars Daffy Duck Frustrated Fowl DVD:
My 34 year old daughter has held on to her stuffed Daffy Duck since she was a child. The mug and DVD are to be gifts for her 35th birthday. She should get a chuckle and fond memeories will return to her.

Wrong aspect ratio!
from Indianapolis, Indiana
About Me Movie Buff
The aspect ratio is butchered. I am sorry I purchased this disk. I DO NOT recommend this disk. Perhaps one day this will be released as originally screened. Do not buy this disk.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Improper formating ruins the disc
By Kevin Mickel
from Boston MA
Standard version: Presented in a format preserving the aspect ratio of their orginal theatrical presentation. That's the phrase on the back of the disc packaging, and it is not true. While the first few cartoons are fine, from design for leaving on, the cartoons are blown up to wide screen, having the their tops and bottoms cropped off. This ruins an otherwise great disc that I had been looking forward too. The problem also exists on the companion Bugs Bunny disc. Others have reported the same problem, so it's not just my copies. WB, FIX THIS!
10 of 15 cartoons edited for Widescreen
By Eric M
from Whitsett, NC
I was looking forward to buying the Daffy Duck & Bugs Bunny Super Stars DVDs. Unfortunately while all 15 shorts on each DVD have been restored, 10 of the 15 on each DVD are matted for Widescreen presentation. This cuts off some vital background layouts on these cartoons. Given that all prior DVD releases (particularly in the Golden Collections) were presented in full frame, it is troubling that these all of a sudden are being released on DVD in Widescreen. Is there a possibility that a replacement DVD with the full frame cartoons can be sent? Otherwise, I can not justify paying full price for only 5 restored cartoons in full frame. I also do not plan on paying the full price for future Super Stars DVD releases if there is not an option to view them in full frame. WHV, please let us the Looney Tunes fans know what you plan on doing.
