About Me Casual Viewer
There is something special about this movie. Tom Cruise, Ken Watanabe, and cast seem to have an ability to evoke an emotional response each and every time I watch it. The cinematography and the soundtrack (Hans Zimmer) combine for a breathtaking and original experience. The unique look into Japanese culture (as two ways of life collide) will bring about a higher appreciation and knowledge of the values and customs of the nation.

The last Samurai film, it could be considerate a Masterpiece. The theme itself is precious and reflected the convergence of two different cultures united by two basic reasons, Yin and Yan, values and human weaknesses.Tom's role was performed the best ever seem. Could be mention scene when he is at Taka's home and went through severe cravings… magister!I would recommend being use as a complementary motivational tool for alcoholic patients. Excellent film.

This is a great movie, it tells a lot of history when the japanese people where industrializing their country, so other countries don't come, and take control of their land.It has a lot of action, and how did Japanese people lived in that time.9.5/10
