    Comments about Korg: 70,000 B.C.:

Details the daily life struggle to survive of a small family clan in the Neanderthal cave dwelling era, with the two adult males (brothers) being the most important providers and decision makers. Despite the huge brow ridges and protruding teeth, you actually get to identify with this family and its wary competition with potentially hostile neighbors for the necessities of life. There is always adventure and fear as they attempt to cope with the seemingly random, capricious vicissitudes of nature that threaten their precarious existence. (Drought, played out game, earthquake, solar eclipse, disease, injuries. But through it all they nobly struggle on and even occasionally find some humor along the way.

      Comments about Korg: 70,000 B.C.:

I remembered this show from when it first aired. Saw it on a b&w set. Yes, they had them. Seeing the show in actual color! This is a really well done show that kept me engaged due to it being realistic. My sis and fourteen year old watch this now. They like it also.

        Comments about Korg: 70,000 B.C.:

Good show finally on dvd. I remember liking this alot better as a child, but it held up ok. There is an episode about the sea, where Korg and his family run into a famiy of pre-historic surfer dudes...I am not kidding!! You read that right! That is the only episode that really jumps the shark, but it is sooo funny!! All the episodes look good. I reccomend it.

        Comments about Korg: 70,000 B.C.:

I remember this Hanna-Barbera live action series in the 1974-1975 TV season, I was only 3 to 4 years old at the time. There was even a Charlton Comic tied to this series running for 2 years.
