Hucksters, The

Vic Norman is an advertising executive, a snappily suited huckster who dreams up ways of singing his clients' praises and selling their wares. Principles? That's something the ad biz isn't selling this year.

          Comments about Hucksters, The:

This is one of Gable's better post-war pictures. It's funny, well-written, moves along at a nice pace, and the story, holds up quite well. All of the actors are quite good, particularly Adolph Menjou and Sydney Greenstreet who, in his relatively brief, showy, role, steals the film.

Great remastering. A terrific message is delivered by this movie on personal values and integrity. Should be required viewing by the youth of today to see the mind set of the greatest generation and what made America great!

Any Deborah Kerr movie made at MGM is worth owning
on DVD ! When can we have these other missing
titles : "Edward my Son", "Please Believe Me",
"Count Your Blessings", "The Journey" "Naked Edge"?
Kerr did other very good films aside from
              "The King and I " and "Tea & Sympathy".Hello!!!
Warner Archives: Lets have a box set of her MGM
              films !
