This wand is perfect for any severus snape fan out there and for any harry potter fan in general.all i have to say if you don't have one "HURRY UP QUICK, BEFORE THEY ALL GO OUT OF STOCK", alough it is really cool and detailed looking it is a true collectable and NOT A TOY, because it is very fragile so i would not recomend it to anyone under the age around 10 and should be handled with care. the only thing that i would recommend is that you should but the name of the character on the wand box so then you can know who owns what wand, which would be a great help with someone like me, that has about 20 of them on one shelf as a collectable, but all in all, it is great and i LOVE it soooooooooooo much!

My 19 year old dropped it in the kitchen and a small piece broke off. I wish this were made of wood. It looks great, but be very careful. She want me to fix it because she has to have everything authentic. I have epoxy putty that can do the job, but not everyone is capable of fixing stuff like this. Don't drop it!

So, my friend got me this from Universal Studios. I love Professor Snape! This is so like Snape's personality! Sturdy, detailed, and with a flair of darkness. I 'm not sure if it's the Universal version, but the box is different. It is a cardboard box with a plastic wand holding place inside and foam on the top. But, this is AMAZING! I use it all the time. I always hold it while watching the movies!

The wand itself is beautiful, looks extremely authentic, very detailed and seems to be very good quality. Has a nice weight to it, doesn't feel at all cheap. Beautiful and authentic packaging as well (velvet lined box, covered with sheer ribbon, very Snape-esque), which greatly enhanced the overall experience of receiving/opening the wand. One minor "con" is the (very small) WB copyright symbol stamped in gold, right on the lovely black wand. Other than that, perfection.

The wand itself is superb - very authentic and excellent quality - but this wand had no identifying words, marks, labels, tags or anything else on the box or the certificate to indictae that this was Snapes wand. A second wand we bought for Professor Slughorn had the name written on the box and on a little clip. It would be good if something similar was used to identify this wand as Snapes. The box that Snapes came in was however of very good quality - better than the Slughorn case.
