I have returned this castle. I was very unhappy with the lack of detail. The castle walls are one color with no shadowing or color variations. Just an ugly brown color. For the price I would not reccomend this product.

I got the castle a couple days ago. I first saw it on the Noble Collection website and after researching it a million times, I saw that it came with a glass case. When I opened my box, it didn't have a glass case, which I am so glad it didn't because now I can look at it without smudging glass or anything. It also doesn't come with Harry Potter blu-ray dvds that I some have said come with it. My only complaints would be these, on the Owlery, you can see the glue that connects it to the ground, it dried while pouring down the side. Also, on the outside of the Great Hall, a little spike is missing, but that's not that big of a problem. Nother issue of mine would be on the rock close to the water, you can see where, either it was chipped or white paint got on it sor something. Other than that, I am still coompletely pleased with this and I would definitely recommend to all collectors.

We bought it as a gift for our daughter. She LOVES it. The base the castle sits on is a nice touch. The large tower is slightly crooked.

This is a great piece for serious collectors. It includes Hagrid's Hut, but the Quidditch Pitch is nowhere to be found.

This is a beautiful piece and highly detailed, however, the wooden base had large gaps at the back joints and one back corner sits higher than the rest. The castle had white visible glue in some places and gaps where pieces weren't glued in correctly. Odd paint in some places. Other than those defects it is a lovely castle. I do not regret buying it.

Large well constructed model. Overwhelming size of the "mountain" component. Would be better with more detail of the buildings (coloring and size) with less emphasis on the rock base. Especially for the price. Did the designers see the Universal Studio's replica in Florida?[...]
