One word is enough to describe this product, "fantastic". It's a must have for any Harry Potter's lovers. Not only looks cool when I carried it as I become Harry Potter in local costume party, it is definitely a lifetime memorabilia. I'm not looking like Harry Potter but all of my friends thought that the wand is a real deal as it has detailed design.

I was really excited to own a harry potter wand. I have been a long time fan, and for one reason or another didn't order one in the first booklets that came in my DVDs. I have since purchased all the Blu-rays. But this wand....just does not seem right. I remember my first booklets showing a wand that looked different. Also in my head I picture the wand Harry having as being the way J.K Rowling described and the way it was shown in the first films. This wand looks older, and squared of edges in the handle. Where as the original wand was more rounded on the handle and without the look of "veins" or knobs. I feel that this wand seems to be a hybrid of Dumbledore's Elder wand and Voldermort's wand. Also it is packaged in the original Olivander's box, which I understand why and is a great touch, but doesn't seem right. A wand wouldn't change appearance and since it was filmed looking different in the original films why has it changed? I even feel film 4 and 6 have shown the wand looking differently. Despite my words I am happy with it because it is a great product though, it is of very good quality and hey its what they say is the official product so.... I say yes to recommend because I feel most people may not be as picky as me and because it is very nicely made, shipped, and presented in the box. I inserted a picture of what the original wand looked like to me and that I made on my lathe.

        This is the best wand of all 12 that i own. It actually does magic to my brain. I couldn't believe it when i summoned a wingardian leviosah spell on my brother and it actually worked. This is a must buy. It will change your life forever.

                    If you are a HP fanatic, this is propbably one of the best memorabilia you can have. Wand is well detailed but the box and presentation is where this shines. Beautiful ribbon covers the wand / display area and authentic looking box rounds out the presentation. We were going to buy the lighted wands at [@]but are very glad we went this route.

                        My 9 yr old loves Harry Potter so this was a perfect gift for him. It comes in the same box as in the movie, as well as has a nice velvet liner with delicate ribbon. Howerer, his all ready has 2 micro cracks in it. One is where the handle meets the smooth part of the wand and the other is 1/2 way up the shaft. It is made of a resin that seems to be easy to crack, so not a great wand if you want to play with it all the time. We however LOVE it!
