Comments about Hard Way, The (MOD):

Ida Lupino heads a good cast that includes Jack Carson & Joan Leslie. A very good "B" movie. Film begins with Ida Lupino's character jumping off a dock & then prcceeds to say why. Good acting throughout as Ms.Lupino is very good as is Joan Leslie. Good movie to spend an evening with that tells how intoxicating fame can become.

Comments about Hard Way, The (MOD):

if you want to see great acting folks, take a look. Ida lupino deserved an oscar for her performance. in fact, all the performances were fine. great dialogue. great cinematography by james wong howe. would love to see this restored. there are a few scenes where the sound and picture were fuzzy. great film to have in a classic movie collection!
