This set is pretty great for anyone who didn't already own these films on blu-ray. Unfortunately, it isn't as complete as it rightfully should be. It does contain all of the films in the Friday the 13th franchise, but it really should have uncut versions of every film, and more special features. To be called the "Complete Collection," it should be totally loaded with all of the best special features from every individual release of every one of these films. It should also include either one, or both, of Daniel Farrands' documentaries about the franchise, His Name Was Jason: 30 Years of Friday the 13th or Crystal Lake Memories: The Complete History of Friday the 13th. That being said, this is still a pretty cool set. Just not perfect, in my opinion.

Very disappointing that this box set is just thrown together as quick as possible for money. Originally pre-ordered as soon as I found out, but once I found out the disks are not uncut when previous uncut versions already exist, I cancelled my order. Then found out that movies are doubled up on disks, and the 3d will not be real 3d. Also, I believe the blu rays are just ported over from DVD, which will give you the picture quality of DVD, and since I already own them all on DVD, I am gonna save my money. Maybe one day a box set will come out that is truly made for the fans and not just for compulsive buyers who have to own every single release, until then I will save my money.

Comments about Friday the 13th: The Complete Collection (BD) Blu-ray:
First off this is an excellent set, the steelbook type case is great. Love all the little things inside, patch, book ect. The one and only complaint and something others will want to consider if you are picky. The discs are slid into cardboard, I have had two sets every disc has scratches on them. I don't even hold the disc to pull them out, I carefully open the cardboard with pressure on each side and the disc will slowly slide out, but will still be scratched. These only seem to be surface scratches but I haven't watched all the movies yet to see if it affects play. I wish they would have put it in a 10 disc blu-ray case instead. Oh well just wanted to let others know that more than likely you will have to endure some scratching on your discs but otherwise a great set.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

WB shop delivering an EXCELLENT product
from New York
We purchased the Friday the 13th Collection and what an amazing package they sent for an amazing price. It was in quality packaging that came with some little extras. Blue Ray and even an episode we could watch in 3D. I was very impressed.
Love it, minus disc packaging

About Me Collector, Horror Fan
I liked the case, book, patch pretty much everything, the case wasn't what I would call perfect it had a few dings, but my main gripe is every disc was scratched, playable, sure but if you are a collector like me scratches probably will drive you nuts. I never even touched these to get them out I basically opened the cardboard to loosen it so the disc would slide out but alas they were still scratched. I hope they eventually put it in a book like it is but put the discs on some sort of digi tray or something so they aren't scratched almost 90 bucks is a little spendy but i will live with it.

COULD'VE BEEN BETTER!

NO NEED 2 REVIEW THE FILMS, WERE ALL FANS & WE'VE SEEN THEM..THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE COLLECTION. I LIKE THE TIN CASE, EVEN THOUGH IT COLLECTS A LOT OF YOUR FINGERPRINTS. THE BOOK IS NICE, THE BADGE IS OK. THE RED CLIP WITH THE WORDS "I TOLD THE OTHERS, THEY DIDN'T BELIEVE ME YOU'LL ALL DOOMED" FROM CRAZY RALPH, IS KOOL. I PURCHASED IT BECAUSE OF THE FIRST TIME BLU-RAY RELEASE OF FILMS 4-10. THEY DIDN'T DO A REAL 3D REMASTER FOR PART 3, LIKE SHOUT FACTORY DID FOR AMITYVILLE HORROR, THAT WAS JUST LAZINESS. MOST OF THE FILMS AREN'T TRULY REMASTERED, ONCE AGAIN LAZINESS. THEY JUST BURNT THEM FROM PREVIOUS EDITIONS. SAME GOES FOR THE EXTRAS, INCLUDING THE BONUS DISC. THERE'S NOTHING NEW THERE EITHER. ALL SHOULD'VE BEEN UN-CUT VERISONS AS WELL.THE ABSOLUTE WORSE THING ABOUT THIS COLLECTION IS THE CHINTZY PACKAGING THAT HOLDS THE DISK. THIS IS WHERE EVERYTHING GOES DOWNHILL. THE EXTREMELY SHODDY CARD-BOARD SLOTS, THAT QUICKLY SCRATCHES THE DISC. THIS MAKES IT REALLY DIFFICULT TO GET THE MOVIES IN & OUT OF THE SLOTS. IF WARNER-BROS CARED ABOUT THEIR LOYAL JASON FANS, THEY WOULD HAVE PROVIDED INDIVIDUAL SLOTS WITH A SCRATCH-FREE RESISTANT BASE. LIKE THE SOPRANOS: COMPLETE SERIES GIFT SET, TAKE NOTE WARNER-BROS!OVERALL, IT'S KOOL. I'M HAPPY WITH THE FACT THAT ALL OF THE FILMS ARE FINALLY IN ONE COLLECTION & ON BLU-RAY. IF U ALREADY HAVE MOST OF THIS FILMS, YOUR PROBABLY NOT GONNA BE HAPPY WITH THIS COLLECTION. IF U DON'T HAVE THEM, THEN THIS IS GREAT FOR U.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The box set is great but be careful taking out the disc since it scratches easily.

Finally a Friday collection worth buying
When I heard that this was on it's way my mouth dropped. I practically grew up on these films. I have been a proud blu-ray owner since 2010 and love everything about them. I never even purchased the first three Friday films when they first came out on blu-ray back in 2009 because I knew that one day Hollywood would grow a heart for Jason someday and low and behold they did. Excellent picture quality with some great special features to boot! I'm telling everyone about this set. I'm going to the world!
