      Comments about Flight Angels:

To an Airline Enthusiast like myself this Movie is Priceless! It takes place on an American Airlines DC-3 during the Airline Industry's Golden Age. Much like the glamour of early Hollywood the airline industry too had its own wonderful past. Very little documented footage remains of this by gone era. Like a time capsule from the past, "Flight Angels" takes us back to the pioneer days of flying.

Besides the historical importance of this film, what I think I like most about it is its great cast of actors. The girls who play the Stewardesses are absolutely darling, even the Villin Stewardess, Rita. You can't help just about Falling In Love with all of them, especially the Star of this Movie, the very pretty Virginia Bruce. Along with her is the dashing actor, Dennis Morgan. Also worth mentioning is the role played by a young Jane Wyman, who 11 years later would go on to play an Airline Stewardess again in the Movie, "Three Guys Named Mike."

Other Warner Bros. Gems from the early days of Air Travel include: "Julie," "Zero Hour," and "The Crowded Sky." Now if they would only release "China Clipper" on DVD, I would be really happy. For now though, sit back, relax, and enjoy the trip. You're in good company on Warner Bros. Flight Eight. From 1940, and my all time favorite airline movie, "Flight Angels."
