Comments about FBI Code 98:

The transfer widescreen all right looks great!
The print is very good with little damage, white spots, some softness and scratches ,and few bad frames.
Also very good contrast, sharp 'image', and quite good black.
The audio track is quite good.
Very watchable print.

RECOMMENDED!

    Comments about FBI Code 98:

FBI CODE 98 IS AN AUTHENTIC YET ENTERTAINING TALE OF THE FBI IN A COLD WAR BACKGROUND OF THE EARLY 1960S. WHEN ELECTRONICS EXECS JACK KELLY, RAY DANTON AND ANDREW DUGGAN TRAVEL TO CAPE CANAVERAL AS CRITICAL FIGURES IN THE MISSILE PROGRAM OF THE ERA, ONE OF THEIR SUITCASES TURNS UP WITH A BOMB PRIMED FOR EXPLOSION. CHIEF FBI AGENT PHILIP CAREY HEADS THE INVESTIGATION, ENCOMPASSSING THE U.S. AND SEVERAL FBI DIVISIONS. NEATLY BLENDING AUTHENTIC FBI OPERATIVES AT WORK INTO THE STORYLINE, DIRECTOR LESLIE MARTINSON CRAFTS A GRIPPING THRILLER. WHILE THE IDENTITY OF THE BOMBER IS REVEALED BEFORE THE CREDITS, THE EMPHASIS ON THE PERSONNEL OF THE BUREAU TYPIFIES THE STORY. THE B/W PHOTOGRAPHY ACCENTS THE FILM WHICH WAS ORIGINALLY PRODUCED AS A TELEFEATURE, BUT RELEASED THEATRICALLY IN 1963. THE FILM INCLUDES AN APPEARANCE BY J. EDGAR HOOVER. WB WOULD RETURN TO THE FBI THEME SOME TWO YEARS LATER WITH ITS POPULAR TELEVISION SERIES. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
