The product itself is fine, though I don't think it's worth the money. I could see myself paying 20 dollars for it, but not 35.First of all, it's not as sleek as it looks in the picture- it's still nice, but it looks obviously like fake wood. Secondly, instead of being black to the first 'ring' and then continuing on as the 'cherry wood' from then on, it's black to the first ring and then is a mottled brown color for almost half an inch after the second ring before finally segueing into the cherry-colored wood.[...] I do my best to make authentic costumes and coordinate photoshoots as a hobby. That being said, authenticity and a good quality product mean a lot to me. When you have a stamped logo right in the center of the wand, when there are painting errors (light tan chips in the black hilt), when there are raised bumps of the manufacturer's design in the actual wand itself, that just doesn't look good in high quality photos. As a whole, it looks alright. From a distance, one wouldn't be able to tell that it was that bad- but up close, it just doesn't look like the 'authentic' piece it's advertised as.
