Comments about The Frozen Dead (1966):

This movie is one I caught at the local theater as a kid. This throws me back to the days of small theaters in our town that would show movies like this on what they would call double bills. You would get two movies and some cartoons. This is a fun and not to be taken serious horror film. Dana Andrews was probably in need of a check.
The transfer is good and sound was acceptable. This is one of those films you watch with friends and riff at it constantly and you will have a blast.

I found the picture quality nice just a few bad frames, and the audio track is " very good".
WB Archive has done well with "this funny B Movie"!

Comments about The Frozen Dead (1966):

By modern standards this is not a fast moving action fest. It is morbidly funny and has an ending that will leave you unsettled. Poor Elsa's fate is twisted and cruel but we get to see a pretty blond put the kibosh on the nazis last best hope. Creepy fun.

Comments about The Frozen Dead (1966):

Stalwart Dana Andrews stars as a batty scientist who's under the control of the Third Reich--and a living head that's up to no good. The film plays like a combination of THE BRAIN THAT WOULDN'T DIE and THEY SAVED HITLER'S BRAIN, and fits smugly into the "Living Head" subgenre of horror films.

Warner has remastered the film in its original color palate and widescreen aspect ratio, yielding a very pleasing image.
