        Comments about Wild Rovers:

This is a great (if unsung) Western which headlines two low-key performances from stars William Holden and Ryan O'Neal. Holden and O'Neal both work as cowboys/cattlepunchers for boss Karl Malden and realize that their lives are going nowhere and probably will remain that way unless they do something about it. They rob a bank and are on the lam with a posse and their (ex) boss & sons in hot pursuit.
Highlighted by fabulous Panavision cinematography of Kanab, Utah and a marvelous music score by the great Jerry Goldsmith, "Wild Rovers" is an unsung Western which, as part of Blake Edwards canon of great films, has been unjustly neglected. "Wild "Rovers" is a film that every Westen-lover will want to have in their library.

          Comments about Wild Rovers:

One of the great unsung westerns once Edwards got his cut. Holden is the reason to watch and Jerry Goldsmith is the reason to listen. Really glad this one is finally available.

                Comments about Wild Rovers:

I have heard so much about this film that I finally decided to buy it and watch it. William Holden and Karl Malden are excellent as always. It was a pleasant surprise to see Joe Don Baker and Tom Skerrit. Blake Edwards' script has some very perceptive dialogue.

It's a shame that such a wonderful film wasn't remastered or at least a anamorphic transfer. I have a home theater with front projector and oppo blu ray player. Please consider bringing this out in blu ray. Thanks so much
