    Comments about Chain Lightning (1950):

The aircraft shown in this film has an ejectable capsule escape system - someting used on the F-111 aircraft in later years.

Only issue is the size of this capsule - very unrealistic.

I work in aircraft ejection systems so finding this movie was of great interest to me.

          Comments about Chain Lightning (1950):

The print is not so bad, still there are lots of white specks, a few bad frames, with some softness, and scratches.
The audio track level is too low.
However quite good contrast, relatively sharp, and good black.
          Watchable print.

          Recommended.

            Comments about Chain Lightning (1950):

A jet has to prove itself. A pilot says let go. The designer says wait and see. The financier wants return for his investment and the air force needs a new plane. All comes to a great conclusion.

              Comments about Chain Lightning (1950):

I was kind of suprised at Bogart. Dosn't really fit the part of the bold aviator. Good cast, and Bogart does as well as can be expected with a weak script. A couple of scenes were actually quite strong, and Humphrey gave it all he's got, but the script really let this one down. Special effects and airraft were neat.

Seems as though it would have been better as a serial series.
