Comments about Zuma Beach (1978 TVM):

A fun day at the beach with the actress form 3's Company and Step by Step. Watch out for the costars in their younger days. One not mentioned elsewhere here, Kimberly Beck(-Hilton) of the soap Capital, costars in this as well and is well worth watching just for the way she fills out a bikini if nothing else. It's a great way to pass a few hours on a rainy day!

Comments about Zuma Beach (1978 TVM):

I remember seeing Suzanne Somers plug this on some show with Dick Clark back when I was 11 and I was hooked then and remain hooked now. Somers plays an out of luck singer who's trying to find her way and ends up hanging out with a bunch of teens on the beach. To be clear, THIS IS NOT A GOOD MOVIE, but it's great to see a script like this performed as if it were Shakespeare by a bunch of up and coming actors - Michael Biehn (from The Abyss & The Terminator), Tanya Roberts (from Charlie's Angels & Beastmaster), P. J. Soles (from Stripes & Halloween), Timothy Hutton (Ordinary People, Beautiful Girls). And for those that really loved 70's kids fare, the kid that played Hewitt in the Afterschool Special, "Hewitt's Just Different" is here along with one of the Kids from C.A.P.E.R! Sure, it's a train wreck, but it's MY TRAIN WRECK and I can watch this over and over.
