          Comments about Ambush (1949):

This is a really excellent, traditional western with a good, believable plot and realistic characters and action. Robert Taylor is excellent; this is one of his best and John Hodiak does well also.

robert taylor's best western in my opinion, great cowboy/indian yarn where the hero isn't necessarily the toughest guy around. better than i remembered
