Great product, looks really cool and is great to watch and have fun with. Only downside is that the water has to be pretty much boiling to have any effect... Great if you like tea :)

Its a mug, it holds water, the background turns from black to white. You can still read the white text rather easily.

But the main problem is that it cant go in the microwave and it took exactly one day before somebody put it in the dishwasher and half of the paper pealed off. Yes, it is clearly marked on the bottom of the mug, but how many folks are going to see that? Its a ceramic mug, we have been using them for years, but this one can not do things that all of my other mugs can.

As a mug it works, but saying it cant go in the dishwasher or microwave is like having a car that can't go out in the rain because the paint will come off.

Poorly made, image was damaged, and no one will ever use it because they can't microwave it, put it in the dishwasher, or even pour in liquid that is too hot. Ridiculous.

I LOVE this mug. It's absolutely amazing. Drinking out of it makes me so happy having a piece of HP merch that I can use every day. HOWEVER, due to the nature of the mug, you NEED to hand wash it to prevent the design from becoming faded, worn out, or coming off entirely. It's also a little bit smaller than I would have liked, but all in all it's not a bad size for your average breakfast/midday tea or coffee.
