The “bad boys of magic” go over the edge in this mind-blowing, role-switching comedy murder mystery set in the dizzying world of Altlantic City casinos. In a TV interview, Penn mentions his idea of a fun practical joke: “I wish someone were trying to kill me. It would give focus to my life, excitement. I’d be like James Bond.” Twenty-million people hear him. One decides to deliver a punchline he’ll never forget. Made by people who thought Psycho was a comedy, Penn & Teller Get Killed (they also wrote the piece) features Caitlin Clarke as the femme fatale and David Patrick Kelly as the Edgar Allan Poe-esque nutcase with a new mission. Arthur Penn, known for hip masterpieces like Bonnie and Clyde, Alice’s Restaurant and Little Big Man, directs with roller-coaster pacing and subversive intelligence.

The Transfer of this movie was great. The SD transfer looked good on my HDTV.

What took you so long to release this on DVD!? You should give me a free copy for making me wait so long. You're nothing but a bunch of teases! But you know what, it makes me want it that much more.
You should buy this DVD (after I get my free copy, of course) because it made me laugh my flippin' BEAN off, and I hope it will make you laugh your (and your loved one's) respective beans off too :)

Had movie on VHS, long overdue for DVD. Fun dark comedy especially if you like magic or P&T.

Comments about Penn & Teller Get Killed (DVD):
If you like BS you'll love this movie! It's a great fictional story (but starring P&T as themselves) about how their expertise in fooling people is so powerful that it backfires on them when they play with it too much. I wish I could word that better but it is very funny and clever! They're also great actors!

Comments about Penn & Teller Get Killed (DVD):
I've been waiting to get this on DVD for years! This movie is like the Hard Day's Night of P&T - an exaggerated few days in the life and glimpse into the minds of two of the wackiest entertainers ever. The humor is very dark, quirky and clever, and the plot is the kind of insane ride only Penn & Teller could come up with.
With a gun to my head I might choose the airport security scene as a favorite, but then I'd remember Teller angering someone by giving him money, Penn teaching his captor a better American accent, Teller explaining what he hates about magic, Penn writing his diary of the hunted, Teller the ninja... and you'd have to shoot me, because there's just no way I could choose a favorite scene.
If you're not familiar with Penn & Teller you might find it a little hard to get into, but if you like them this is the Must See to end all Must Sees.
