A misunderstood youngster turns into one of the West's most notorious outlaws. Billy the Kid. Say that name in the 1880s New Mexico Territory and some folks whoop for joy. Other folks reach for their guns.
Comments about Billy the Kid (DVD):
Billy the Kid is a great classic movie with Robert Taylor as the main character. There is a lot of great action. It also had a couple of sad scenes in it.

Comments about Billy the Kid (DVD):
Robert Taylor's take on William Bonney (aka Bill the Kid) is dark and compelling. The script itself is thankfully free from the usual gunslinger cliches, and is quite witty in spots. Gene Lockhart does a splendid, effective turn as the villain, but the rich Technicolor photography and breathtaking scenery (the location work is reminiscent of John Ford's use of scenery) put the icing on this slice of history.
