Comments about Captain Sinbad (DVD):
Great example of old fashion film made on a low cost
budget but still manages to be entertaining Williams
is as dashing as the turbaned hero as he was playing
Zorro. Good production value thru-out as seen by the
full set designs Not as special effects dependent as
a Harryhausen film but really fun to watch! I really
enjoyed the fight between Sinbad and The giant hand!
The image is clean 1.85 format and comes with coming
attraction trailer.
Comments about Captain Sinbad (DVD):
I saw this when it came out--it makes great use of elaborate sets and some nice production design. Guy Williams--who was just coming off 'Zorro' was a nice piece of casting--and had fun with it.
Good film for the young and young at heart.

Comments about Captain Sinbad (DVD):
I saw this movie at my local theatre during it's original run. Watching this DVD brought back all that spectacle and magic! The print was sharp and colorful - much better than the VHS recording I made of a TV showing back in the 90's. If you love this movie, you will want to upgrade your collection with this DVD. The trailer is also included, but as is usually the case, of lesser quality than the excellent quality feature.

Comments about Captain Sinbad (DVD):
A great film that is solid entertainment for the whole family. This isn't Ray Harryhausen's Sindbad and it doesn't try to be. It's just a whole lot of fun! Guy Williams does a great turn as the swashbuckling Captain and is aided by some capable co-stars and some great (and not-so-great) visual effects. All-in-all this is a perfect rainy day afternoon film for the young, and the young at heart. The print is beautiful: crisp & clean, with breathtakingly vivid colors. The film practically jumps off the screen! Looks amazing for a film that was not remastered. Nice job WB on giving adventure fans this seldom seen treat!!

Comments about Captain Sinbad (DVD):
This is a good movie to watch at home with or without the family.
I liked the effects even though they were not stop motion and were more along the B side of effects, but it was still well done - this has Sindbad fighting a Giant hand and a hydra. OK effects , but still fun. Great cinematography. Sindbad was bland but still it was a fun film and enjoyable.
Not as good as the Ray Harryhausen Sinbad series, but still holds up well on its own..
