Michigan J. Frog Framed Sericel

The image for this serigraph cel of Michigan J. Frog was carefully transferred from an original drawing from the classic Chuck Jones cartoon, "One Froggy Evening." The serigraphers created seven separate screens, one for each color, from which the edition was printed onto acetate. By using this meticulous serigraph process, the handcrafted quality of an original cel was achieved. This limited edition is comprised of 3,500 serigraph cels. As is the custom with fine art printmaking, the silk-screens used to create the edition were destroyed when the edition was completed. Each of these serigraph cels bears the distinctive and unique holographic seal of Linda Jones Enterprises, Inc. Artwork measures 13.5 inches by 16.5 inches, and the frame is 21 inches by 24 inches. The piece is double matted (top mat white, bottom mat black) with black molding and plexi-glass.
